I'm Hassan Ali. Before starting this company I spent about a decade in banking, working on regulatory reporting and then helping lead the automation of those processes. After that I did a master's in Applied AI. Datasan Labs is what I do with the combination.
The useful part of that decade wasn't the technology. It was learning how to sit down with the people who actually do the work — an operations manager, someone from finance, whoever inherited the spreadsheet — and work out what a process is really doing. Where the data comes from. Which rules exist only in one person's head. Which exceptions matter and which are noise. Who has to approve what before anything can go out. Then building it, testing it against years of output people already trusted, and staying until they trusted the new thing too. That last part always takes longer than the build.
I learned it in a place where being wrong was expensive and somebody audited the work. That turns out to transfer. A machine shop's job tracker and a bank's reconciliation aren't the same business, but they're very nearly the same problem: information being moved by hand through a process that should be moving itself.
AI is part of how I build now. It's how one person can take on work that used to need a team, and it's genuinely good at the messy parts. It is not the product. If plain, testable code is the right answer for your workflow, that's what you'll get — and I'll tell you which parts didn't need a model.
